Chromosphere Fulldome is a special program of immersive screenings in a 360° dome, which will be featured for four days during the Patchlab Festival on the meadow in front of Apteka Designu, in the new creative district of Wesoła.

The film program is divided into 4 separate screenings, showcasing a selection of films and animations awarded at prestigious festivals, selected through the open call *Chromosphere*, as well as works produced at the Society for Arts and Technology (SAT) in Montreal.

The fifth screening, KIDS, is designed for children aged 7 and up, and details of this program can be found HERE.

François Vautier introduces viewers to the futuristic predictions of visionary scientist, humanist, and sci-fi writer Arthur C. Clarke. *Biosphère* offers an immersion into spectacular landscapes, highlighting the incredible power of nature, while the animation from the Greek collective presents perceptual experiments, connecting the micro and macro cosmos. This block also features the latest surreal animation by Polish artist Ari Dykier, as well as *Drift*, which immerses the viewer in a cosmic journey, prompting reflections on the future of space exploration.

This block features the award-winning fulldome film from the prestigious DomeWestFest in Los Angeles, directed by Ina Chen. The film, following the final moments of a dying humpback whale, tells the tragic story of the largest oil spill in history from the Deepwater Horizon drilling platform. *Tidal Echoes* is an abstract animation contemplating the nature of ocean currents, while Prokofiev’s latest masterpiece takes the audience on a hypnotic journey through three distinct architectural narratives. The program also includes an artistic animation by Sandrine Deumier and a visual audiovisual experiment based on photogrammetry and glitch titled Brèche.

Écosystème is an audiovisual work based on scientific data that sensorially immerses the viewer in the depths of the sea to highlight the harmful noise pollution affecting marine ecosystems. The award-winning animation Astro explores the reasons behind space exploration from an artistic and creative perspective.

Two audiovisual spectacles created at the Society for Arts and Technology (SAT) in Montreal.
The film Metaract was produced during an artistic residency at SAT by creators from Tokyo and Osaka, who developed the project in the fulldome format, exploring the dualism between the analog and digital worlds.
The second film offers a journey through different sleep cycles. It presents an audiovisual reinterpretation of dreams, from falling asleep to deep sleep, attempting to explore the sixth stage of sleep, which remains uncharted.

Chromosphere

Chromosphere is an international project co-funded by the European Union, focused on popularizing and educating innovative visual arts creation in the 360° dome (fulldome) format. The project consists of a series of dome-based events in Poland, Greece, Italy, France, and Hungary. The program includes audiovisual concerts, immersive screenings, and workshops in four European cities between 2024-2025.

The project is implemented by a consortium of partners, including: Athens Digital Arts Festival (leader partner from Athens), AADN-Arts et Cultures Numériques from Lyon, Főnix cultural event organization from Debrecen in Hungary, Art Mirror from Romania, Flyer from Rome, and the Photon Foundation, organizer of the Patchlab Digital Art Festival in Krakow.

The event partner is the Society for Arts and Technology from Montreal [SAT]—a world-leading organization conducting artistic and research projects in the 360° dome.
