Artist working at the intersection of art, science and technology. In his practice, he uses light, motion, sound and data to create environments in which physical phenomena become sensory experiences. He is interested in translating processes that are invisible or otherwise inaccessible to human perception into forms that can be seen, heard and felt. His work explores phenomena such as wave motion and the cyclical patterns of natural processes, as well as methods of sonifying scientific data derived from exoplanets, gravitational waves and the solar wind. In his practice, data is not merely a record of reality, but a material for constructing new representations and simulations of it. He also addresses the climate crisis and the growing problem of plastic pollution.
He holds a B.Sc. in Physics from the University of Patras and an M.Sc. in Optics and Lasers from the University of Essex. He is currently a PhD candidate at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. His work has been presented at institutions and festivals including BOZAR, Science Gallery, ISEA, Times Art Museum and Athens Digital Arts Festival.
