Meet THE ARTISTS: Who Is Designing Our Future?
Talk
A conversation with artists presenting their works at this year’s Patchlab, offering an insight into their creative processes, their engagement with technology, and the ideas shaping their projects.
Taking Dream Sim as its point of departure, the discussion will consider how contemporary technologies reshape imagination, perception, and agency. What happens when tools designed to extend human creativity begin to influence, anticipate, and co-produce the visions we create? And where, in this increasingly shared space between human intention and technological systems, does artistic agency reside?
The conversation in English will be moderated by Marcin “maciu” Maciejewski _PL | infuture.institute.
Participants:
Birk Schmithüsen _DE
Gáspár Battha _HU
Guillaume Coutu Dumont & Line Katcho _CA
Paula Gaetano Adi _AR/US
The meeting will take place in the Green Room on the first floor of Pałac Potockich.
