A collective working at the intersection of contemporary art, research, and hacking practices. Their projects, situations, and publications challenge dominant narratives of technological progress, from techno-solutionism to techno-escapism, while opening space for speculation, critical debate, and alternative futures. Their practice spans artistic research, curatorial work, and publishing. They are also the authors of an anthology on media piracy. In 2018, supported by Design Trust in Hong Kong, they conducted research on Chinese Shanzhai culture. They are currently undertaking a research residency at the University of California, Irvine.
