Evita Manji is a Greek musician, singer, songwriter and multimedia artist whose practice connects human experience with the climate crisis, quantum physics and questions of mortality. Through synthesis and sound design, she builds expansive sonic environments that move between organic forms, abstraction and physical intensity. In 2021, she founded her own platform, myxoxym, through which she curates events and releases projects including Plasmodium I and II, fundraising compilations supporting environmental awareness and wildlife relief efforts in response to forest fires in Greece.
Manji has performed at venues including Southbank Centre in London, Volksbühne in Berlin and Phoenix Central Park in Sydney, as well as festivals such as CTM, Unsound, MUTEK, Elektra BIAN, Draaimolen and Sonic Territories. Her sound works have also been presented in gallery contexts, including Kunsthalle Basel. In 2024, during a residency at MONOM Studio in Berlin, she developed her first spatial sound piece, Echo(location) Chamber, later premiered at Het Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. Her collaborations include projects with Ludwig Wandinger, Van Boom and Nick Knight, as well as contributions to two tracks on SOPHIE’s posthumous album SOPHIE.
