Birk Schmithüsen is an audiovisual artist based in Leipzig. His practice explores emerging technologies that increasingly shape everyday life. In his artistic research, he uses abstract and invisible processes related to artificial intelligence, big data, and computer vision as artistic media, translating them into immersive installations created with new media technologies.
