Guillaume Marmin, trained at the University of Lyon II and ARFIS, is a French visual artist.
His work, connected from the start to the music scene and performing arts, refreshes traditional forms of storytelling and media. Influenced by experimental filmmakers like Len Lye and Stan Brakhage, Marmin searches for a new synesthetic alphabet — a common language of images, sounds, rhythms, and contrasts.
He explores various media, from 3D sculpture mapping to projections on photography and moving bodies. His immersive works in public spaces emerge from collaborations with architects, musicians, and lighting designers. Marmin creates a world combining abstract purity with generative geometry, unveiling the unseen beauty and mathematical foundations of reality.
Despite using advanced technology, his work retains a connection to reality, exploring the relationship between nature and technology.
