audiovisual performances

17.10 | 20:00 Tickets | 60 PLN Hevre+1

AVnoc 3 on Saturday evening at Hevre +1 will immerse the audience in two worlds suspended between memory, fiction, and simulation. Both performances explore how realities can feel strangely familiar even when they are assembled from fragments of memory, data, and imagination. A digital journey through landscapes and ecosystems by a Rome-based Italian collective, and a retrofuturist odyssey presented in collaboration with MUTEK, one of the leading international events dedicated to electronic music and digital art, will come together in an intense, immersive evening.

A retrofuturist, surreal audiovisual odyssey inspired by science fiction, mythology, and the aesthetics of analogue electronics. Coutu-Dumont’s music, drawing on krautrock, ambient, and the synthesizer sounds of the 1970s and 1980s, creates a hypnotic atmosphere of a world that feels familiar, though it may never have existed.

Line Katcho’s visual layer develops a narrative of imagined empires: their birth, expansion, collapse, and recurring rebirth. Abstract imagery, symbols, and fragmented narratives form a shifting landscape of power structures suspended between a forgotten past and a fabricated future.

Here, time loses its linearity, history merges with fiction, and memory with projection. Les Empires creates a simulation of an alternative history and future, showing how easily imagined worlds can acquire the texture of memory and lived experience. Nostalgia refers not to what has actually passed, but to a synthetic past that can be constructed, experienced, and almost claimed as one’s own.

This performance is co-presented by MUTEK, with the financial support of the Canada Council for the Arts and the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec

ELISA | Blivet

  _IT

An audiovisual performance following the journey of a virtual microorganism through landscapes, memories, and living systems. Structured like a road movie, the work transforms sounds, images, field recordings, and fragments of experience gathered during the artists’ journey into an immersive composition.

Layers of sound, electronic rhythms, and generative visuals create a world in which real places merge with their digital transformations. The virtual microorganism becomes a metaphor for the invisible connections between ecosystems, landscapes, and people.

ELISA explores how technology can transform reality into a new, partly imagined world. What has been seen and recorded returns as a simulation in which memory, observation, and generated imagery overlap.
