Sarapata is a Krakow-based duo of brothers Michał and Mateusz, who combine a love for harmony with a passion for electronic music, especially techno. Their musical background includes collaborations with the band Lor and their own group SALK, where they crafted dreamlike compositions based on classical instruments. In their techno creations, they blend rich, organic, and pulsating sounds, moving beyond the typical club aesthetic. Their debut EP, EP1, is a brotherly vision of electronic music, free from rigidity and conventions, merging the trance-like qualities of Moderat, the ethereality of Jon Hopkins, and the romanticism of Kiasmos. Their latest album, Radical Kindness, is described by the duo as “a manifesto of being kind to oneself, others, and the world, something desperately needed in times of crisis for both individual and societal well-being.”
